No. You can start with example numbers or your own, and add transactions later by importing a statement file. You review every transaction before anything is saved.

Your balance today, your income and expenses (the amount, how often they repeat, and when they start and stop), one-off events such as a deposit or a move, and the horizon you choose. Every assumption behind a line stays visible, and you can change any of them.

Taxes, inflation, investment returns and debt interest are not modelled yet. Each one would make the projection look more certain than it is, so it shows only what follows from the numbers you entered. It is a projection, not a prediction.

Add your transactions and see how the real months track against the path you chose. Cortado learns from the categories you confirm, so sorting them takes less work over time.

Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. It is never sold or shared with third parties, Cortado never asks for your bank login, and you can delete everything at any time.

Yes. It works in any browser and is designed for small screens. Native iOS and Android apps are in progress.
